High school is supposed to prepare you for the rest of your life, right?
I always assumed that by the time I graduated high school, I would be ready to face the real world. Isn't that why we spend all that time there? I thought I knew it all, and I am not above admitting that I was very, very wrong. After high school, my real education began. I was forced to learn a lot of hard lessons about things like money, relationships and myself. I made a lot of mistakes and took the long way to some very important realizations.
Throughout my young adulthood, I kept asking one question:
